WHY AUTOMATIC
To help you decide wether to take automatic driving lessons we have put togher some of the reasons why previous pupils decided that the automatic route was best for them.

STRESS FREE LEARNING
For most people learning to drive and using the clutch,gears and accelerator together are very stressful. Get it wrong and you stall or kangaroo over the road or the car starts rolling backwards on hills. This fear for some means constant checking of the gear selection which results in less observation of the road.
The good news is that with an automatic car this aspect of learning to drive is completely removed leaving the pupil to give their full attention to what is happening around them whilst increasing their confidence in their decision making at the same time. This removes much of the stress and anxiety of the learning process and the pupil develops more confidence much more quickly.
PUPILS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Over the years we have had many pupils turn to automatic driving lessons either because they have restricted movement because of some form of physical disability or because of learning problems.
NERVOUS DRIVERS
We have had many nervous drivers who have found the fear factor of coordinating the clutch, accelerator and gears too much for them. The fact that the gears have been removed has helped them progress with our tuition
THE OLDER DRIVER
We see more pupils over the age of 35 today than at any other time. People might of not been in the position to afford to learn to drive in their teens or their circumstances might have changed meaning their need to be independently mobile is now a necessity. Remember learning to drive is not exclusively for the young, anybody can learn and here at FISHERS DRIVING SCHOOL you will find the process a rewarding one.
